One month ago, in sunny Tiburon, CA, we officially tied the knot. We cried, laughed, embraced, and began the journey toward the rest of our lives. Thank you to all who came to support us and partied your butts off. It was more magical than we could have imagined. 💗✨

Our presider, Sonny Manuel, shared this blessing during our ceremony, words that capture what we hope to carry through our marriage:

Now you will feel no rain, for each of you will be shelter for the other.

Now you will feel no cold, for each of you will be warmth to the other.

Now there will be no loneliness, for each of you will be companion to the other.

Now you are two persons, but there is only one life before you

May happiness be your companion and your days together be good and long upon the earth.

Treat yourselves and each other with respect, and remind yourselves often of what brings you together.

May you continue to be a blessing for all those who cross your path.

Cherry Bombe is a wonderful magazine and community that started a seed of inspiration in me in 2013 as I thought about whether or not I would try a different path than the expected one in the food world.
